The teaching of history at Scantabout follows a carefully planned and resourced programme. We aim to make the children’s learning experiences as interactive as possible through the use of artefacts in class and topic linked visits. We also encourage research skills. This enables the children to discover for themselves what has shaped the world we live in today.
