As part of the Thornden pyramid of schools, Scantabout Primary School teaches French throughout Key Stage Two. The emphasis is on speaking and listening through games, songs and role play. Children also learn about French life and culture. We hope that by learning a modern foreign language at Primary school children will be better equipped to continue with their language learning when they move on to Secondary education.
