Religious Education (RE)

Scantabout follows the highly-regarded Hampshire Syllabus for Religious Education. This encourages children to develop an attitude of caring co-operation and appreciation of others. RE also aims to develop the spiritual side of each child.

Comparative study is an important part of the RE curriculum. Children develop a knowledge and understanding of the Christian faith whilst also learning to respect the nature of religious beliefs held by people throughout the world.
